Brother stuck in Continental!

So we went to this place called Niros, in Jaipur. We all (mom dad, my sister and my brother) sat down on the table and the waiter gave us our menu cards to have a look. So by the time we were just figuring out what different we should eat today by the my brother had already called for the waiter “Excuse me Bhaiya ek chicken chilli lana” 😂

That time I remembered the ‘Men will me men’ advertisement.

So it was ok by then, we did not say anything and later we decided to order something continent, with a new flavour and less spicy kind of stuff. So after struggling out with the menu we concluded to reach to a decision of eating something called Chicken stroganoff, Chicken shaslick and baby corn florentine (all experimental products) 😆

It took the waiter 20 minutes to get our food out of which ‘Chicken chilly’ was the first to be served. Tasting that my brother was happy and confident enough that rest things would be lovely as well.

And the moment came, the waiter served us the food and it looked beautiful 🥘 and definitely yummy(we had enough mature taste buds to explore new foods) but my brother did not even dare to have another bite of it ( use to eating regular Indian spicy foods) and what we were served was very neutral and non spicy yet finger licking.

I realised the world is full of different cuisines and varied recipes to try and linger ones taste buds.

So the point here is 😅 after we all(excluding my brother) were done by the food (tummy zipped) my brother spoke “ Enough of trial, ab ek butter chicken roti bol do” 🤣 we were all laughing over his expressions (9 years old kid) who was not able to understand that what we were exactly eating!!!!!

Size “S”

An open letter to young blooming minds…..

It’s not about being 36-24-36, It’s not about fitting in S sizes, It’s definitely not about being just slim; now is the time to be healthy and not just slim. It is time to be strong and not just have pumped up muscles. It is time to be endured rather than just lifting weights. It is time to gain flexibility rather than just shape.

Being a yoga instructor I have only come across people who come to me and say ‘ पतला कर दीजिए’

Some people tell me you yourself are so chubby! How do you teach yoga? 🧘‍♀️

At that point of moment I realise we are running in a such a great speed but I must say in a wrong direction!

Yoga doesn’t have any set barriers which prevents you from doing it, or doesn’t ask for any eligibilities or some specific kind of form!!!!!

No books of yoga no scriptures of ours and not even the oldest yoga gurus say that you need to be SLIM to an instructor or practice yoga.

And specially today I would like all of you to know that I honestly want to break this hypothesis of people defining beauty as Slim and Tall and what not.

Like we have always studied in chemistry that some reactions have by products at the end. Weight loss is a by product of YOGA and not the ultimate goal of it.

Yoga would help you rejuvenate your lives, would work on your outer as well inner body, your mind and definitely grant you a better and a positive mind and body to reside. 😊

Let us all focus on being healthy inside out and not just our physical appearances.

In the end I would just like to say to the reader that you are a beautiful soul and from deep within my heart I pray that you have a healthy and a peaceful mind and body which definitely make life of yours a much beautiful one.

A yoga Guru desires nothing from you except your well-being and progress on the path! 😊

Peace of Mind

Once Buddha was traveling with a few of his followers. While they were passing a lake, Buddha told one of his disciples,

“I am thirsty.

Do get me some water from the lake.”

The disciple walked up to the lake.

At that moment,

a bullock cart started crossing through the lake.

As a result, The water became very muddy and turbid.

The disciple thought,

“How can I give this muddy water to Buddha to drink?”

So he came back and told Buddha,

“The water in there is very muddy.

I don’t think it is fit to drink.”

After about half an hour, again Buddha asked the same disciple to go back

to the lake.

The disciple went back,

and found that the water was still muddy.

He returned and informed Buddha about the same.

After sometime, again Buddha asked the same disciple to go back.

This time, the disciple found the mud had settled down, and the water was clean and clear.

So he collected some water in a pot and brought it to Buddha.

Buddha looked at the water, and then he looked up at the disciple and said,

“See what you did to make the water clean.

You let it be,

and the mud settled down on its own,

and you have clear water.”

Your mind is like that too ! When it is disturbed, just let it be.

Give it a little time.

It will settle down on its own.

You don’t have to put in any effort to calm it down.

It will happen.

It is effortless.”

Having ‘Peace of Mind’ is not a strenuous job, it is an effortless process, so keep your mind cool and have a great life ahead…

Never leave Your close ones.

If you find few faults in them just close Your eyes and remember the best time You spent together…

because Affection is more important than Perfection..!

Neither you can hug yourself….

nor you can cry on your own shoulder….

Life is all about living for one another,

so live with those who love you the most…

Relations cannot be Understood by the Language of Money…because some Investments never give profit but they make us rich…!

“Family n Friends are such Investments” 😄

Note to the readers: So is our brain like muddy water. Let’s not treble our hands in that muddy water and spoil the conditions further more. Sit back, relax and meditate.

Namaskaram

Namaskarasana is very specially helpful for women preparing for birth. It is also thought to improve both balance and concentration.

Namaskarasana is believed to stimulate the root (muladhara) chakra at the base of the spine, which can help the yogi to feel more grounded.

How to back bend in Namaskaram:

• Stand straight with both legs shoulder width apart

• Join hands and begin to bend backward slowly

• After reaching a limit where your back allows, hold the position

• Take a few breaths in the position

• Then slowly come back to the standing position
